“No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted” — Aesop
A part of Cycle the Earth’s vision is to raise awareness and contributions to charitable causes. A 2012 goal is to participate in and raise funds for The Bailey HUNDO. The Bailey HUNDO (6/16/2012) is a charity race focused on raising money to make sure the future of cycling is bright! All funds raised go to our nonprofit partners: Colorado Mountain Biking Association (COMBA), Trips for Kids Denver/Boulder (TFK) and Colorado High School Cycling League (Colorado League). CLICK HERE TO DONATE and support these great organizations. I’ve pledged a goal of $500, however, my ultimate goal is to raise $5000. Thanks for your support. Trips For Kids
Operating in the United States, Canada and Israel, Trips For Kids® (TFK®) has opened the world of cycling to over 79,000 at-risk youth since 1988 through mountain bike rides and Earn-A-Bike programs. The Colorado High School Cycling League was formed in 2009. The inaugural race series was in the fall of 2010 with 183 student athletes participating representing 20 teams from throughout the state and southern Wyoming. The Colorado League provides a well defined race season for junior racers and promotes the formation of teams at public and private high schools. With the cooperation of local race promoters and sponsors a first class series of races designed for high school aged riders is put together. A primary focus of the League is to provide a fun and easy way to involve juniors in the challenging and exciting world of competitive cycling.
